This course reflects on the role of a support worker who completes specialised tasks and functions in aged service, either in residential, home or community based environments.

 

Workers may be required to demonstrate leadership and have limited responsibility for the organisation.

 

This is a classroom based training course.

 

Students are also required to complete 120 hours practical work-placement. MRC NWR, on the student's behalf, will organise and place each student at a designated facility & community centre.

  • Language and literacy skills  minimum result - 70% in MRC NW's LLN assessment

Course outcome

 

Upon completion of this qualification, you will receive the nationally recognised CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support along with a statement of attainment for the completion of each individual unit.
