Hume Branch Office

The branch office was established in 2003 to provide support to the culturally diverse communities in the City of Hume. 

The centre is staffed by a committed team of workers who provide support to new arrivals in relation to their settlement in Australia, This includes Casework and referral, immigration advice and assistance, community capacity building work with groups and a range of short and long term community projects.

Also based at the centre are staff from:

  • Centre from Multicultural Youth Issues
  • AMES Settlement Services-IHSS program

The centre offers low cost meeting rooms for CALD community groups and an 8 seater community bus is available for hire.

ELIGIBILITY
Newly arrived residents of the local government area of Hume (5 years or less in Australia) and groups or agencies who work with them.
